- Classroom Management: Assisting the lead teacher in the daily operations of the classroom, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
- Curriculum Implementation and Preparation: Utilize age-appropriate curriculum provided by the program to foster children's cognitive, emotional, and social development. Collaborate alongside the lead teacher if any assistance is needed in preparing and organizing materials for lessons and activities.
- Childcare Duties: Manage diapering and restroom breaks for children as needed, ensuring a nurturing and hygienic environment. Assist with mealtimes, promoting good nutrition habits and social interactions.
- Record Keeping and Communication: Track and document children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns in a designated database. Maintain professional and effective communication with other teachers and staff, parents, Director, and other administrative staff, keeping them informed of any concerns, needs, or general updates.
- Training & Development: Participate in and complete all mandatory training sessions and professional development activities as required.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties that may arise within a childcare program.
