As the Glazier, you will replace windows and repair window frames, services flag poles, and deliver man lifts. WHAT YOU'LL DO :
The following outlines what your core duties and responsibilities will be for this position and provides a sample overview of what your day-to-day may look like.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Replaces windows by removing broken glass / plastic and old putty / various other types of glazing.
- Measure and cut glass or plastic to size and reinstall the glass / plastic with the correct glazing system.
- Maintains rope and pulleys on flagpoles.
- Inspects and delivers / pickup IPS's man lifts.
- Installs and repairs curtain-wall systems and related door and hardware.
- Installs and repairs roof / structural skylights.
- Replaces and builds new window screens.
- Installs and repairs greenhouse glazing, structure, and hardware.
- Installs new window systems including panning and brake metal.
- Cleans / removes old caulking and recaulks window frames, curtainwall, and associated panels.
- Rebuilds / repairs single hung, double hung and projections windows.
- Diagnoses and repairs a wide range of window systems and mechanical systems.
- Fabricates enclosures for artwork, camera, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
