- -Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with Indiana state standards and curriculum guidelines.
- -Foster a dynamic, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and student collaboration.
- -Utilize various teaching methods, instructional techniques, and technology tools to enhance student learning and comprehension.
- -Assess student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support growth and development.
- -Maintain accurate student attendance, grades, and performance records, and communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and administrators regarding student progress and concerns.
- -Create a supportive and respectful classroom culture that celebrates diversity, promotes empathy, and values the contributions of all students.
- -Stay informed about current trends and best practices in Agriculture education, participate in professional development opportunities, and collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional strategies and curriculum design.
- -Maintain the school's Ag Facebook page.
- -Administer the school's local FFA chapter
- -Participate in school-wide events, committees, and initiatives, contributing to the school community's overall success and positive culture.
- -A bachelor's degree or graduate degree in agriculture or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
- -Valid Indiana teaching license or eligibility for licensure in agriculture or a related field (grades 9-12).
- -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
- -Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to collaborate with others in a team-oriented environment.
