Teaching Certificate Required: ML Certification & Indiana Teaching License
Previous Teaching Experience Required: At least one year of previous teaching experience required. Experience working with ML students preferred.
General Description of Position Duties: Providing specialized instruction and services for students identified as multi-lingual or English Language Learners. Responsible for administering screening assessments to potential EL students, coordinating ILP conferences, administering the state ML assessment and other related duties supporting ML programming and services.

- Knowledge of strategies intended to support English language proficiency for ML students
- Ability to adapt and develop lesson plans and materials to meet the specific needs of ML students, ensuring alignment with academic standards
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, assistants, and other staff to support ML students' learning
- Monitor and analyze student data to identify areas of need
- Evaluate student process in academic areas and English language development using a variety of assessment methods
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with the ability to work effectively with diverse learners
- This position requires a high level of physical and mental endurance.
- Sitting in an office/classroom environment, performing tasks on a computer or other technical devices.
- Frequent standing, particularly for sustained periods of time.
- Frequent walking, moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one part of the building to another.
