JOB SUMMARY
Performs clerical duties for Elementary Principal and staff. This is a 10-month position.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six to twelve months related experience and / or training.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Composes from rough draft : bulletins, memorandums and other material.
Compiles and files student grade and attendance reports and other school records.
Greets visitors to building, determines nature of business, and directs visitors to destination.
Talks with students encountering problems and resolves problems or directs them to other staff members.
Answers telephone to provide information, takes messages, explains school policies, and transfers calls to proper personnel.
Orders and dispenses school supplies.
Accepts and deposits funds for textbook rental, school supplies, and student activities.
Disburses funds, records financial transactions, and audits and balances student organization and other school fund accounts.
Must report to work.
Maintains calendar of school events.
Maintains student cumulative folder.
Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
