SUMMARY
Serves as a Registrar Secretary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Process all transcript requests.
Maintain paper Cumulative folders, paper transcripts, and Student Information System transcripts, to include adding of grades, filing of loss student transcripts, adding ISTEP, GQE, SAT and ACT scores, and creating new student records.
Process and request student records from / to other schools.
Maintain Merit Citations.
Maintain and distribute report cards.
Maintain records and process transcript requests.
Type, distribute and maintain files for work permits.
Maintain GED requests and files.
Provides backup support to enroll (register) students in Student Information System, to provide Social Security with requested paper work, and data processing.

None.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to three years related experience and / or training. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows programs necessary.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to students, parents and other employees of IPS.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
