The YMCA Early Learning team is searching for a nurturing Infant Teacher that can meet educational and emotional needs of our children. As an Infant Teacher, you will be required to prepare and deliver classroom activities, engage and play on the floor with the babies, as well as hold, rock and meet their individual needs. You will also maintain communication with parents, and ensure that the learning environment remains safe and clean at all times. You should also be an excellent role model for our children.
To be successful as a Infant Teacher, you should be caring, creative, energetic, and able to encourage self-expression. Top candidates will possess an understanding of early childhood development.

- Follow a schedule of activities based on the classroom schedule and lessons.
- Provide basic needs and care to each child.
- Practice safe supervision and engage with children in their environment.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Exhibit classroom management skills.
- Adhere with state standards and safety regulations.
- Experience with infants in a childcare setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Background in early childhood education
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- Familiarity with childhood development principles
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in behavior management techniques
