Preschool Teacher - 3 yr. old and 4 yr. old Classroom

East Gibson School Corporation realizes the importance of a high quality preschool program in the educational success of students; therefore, we are excited to announce the creation of a new preschool program!

East Gibson School Corporation is seeking a 3-year old and 4-year old Preschool Teacher with a Bachelor degree and/or License in Early Childhood preferred; however, Child Development Associate may be considered. This role will create a dynamic and engaging curricular program, develop relational skills for healthy well being, establish a foundation for educational success, and engage families in the learning process. We value individuals who are creative and take ownership of their work and hold themselves accountable and seek candidates who share this commitment.

• Plan, implement, evaluate and supervise a developmentally appropriate inclusive educational curriculum for young children.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and screenings to evaluate children's developmental progress and assist families in making necessary referrals if needed.
• Participate in family engagement activities such as family training, family meetings, and workshops, as assigned.
• Organized, and your ability to track and recall information is unparalleled.
• Technologically talented including crafting documents and materials, planning, and coordinating programs, Microsoft Office, video conferencing platforms, and other web-based applications.
• Proficient in organization skills
• Talented in exemplary professional communication skills, both written and verbal. You have a unique gift for the spoken and written word, are highly articulate and can adapt your approach to resonate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Flexible enough to handle multiple projects simultaneously and pivot to address the opportunities of the new day while meeting deadlines.
