Ideal candidates for this position will have
- A Mild Intervention Licensure or the equivalent, with good communication skills and experience working with general education teachers and instructional assistants
- Experience working with students who have a variety of special needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to ensure student success
- Knowledge to develop Individualized Education Plans
- Experience in taking, maintaining and referring to data to inform decisions
- The ability to provide regular feedback to parents to engage them in the educational process
- The ability to establish excellent classroom management strategies
- Knowledge and experience implementing positive behavior supports
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
