- Respond to emergency situations, disturbances, and security concerns in a timely manner.
- Conduct investigations into incidents occurring on school property, preparing reports as necessary.
- Assist with bus duty, field trips, and school events, ensuring student safety.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous law enforcement experience and experience working with youth preferred, but not required.
- Must meet Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board physical fitness requirements upon arrival at the academy.
- Must hold or be able to obtain Indiana Law Enforcement Certification.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, think critically, and de-escalate conflicts.

- Must be available for various shifts, including school events, evenings, and weekends as needed.
