Job Summary:

Hours we are looking to hire for are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday all 3-7 p.m. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors and employees. This is a Part-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional service and support to our organization.

Responsibilities:

- Perform industrial cleaning and custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning high-traffic areas.
- Clean and maintain floors using specialized equipment and cleaning solutions
- Carry out commercial cleaning and porter duties, including restocking supplies and maintaining equipment.
- Utilize a variety of cleaning tools and equipment, including buffing machines, vacuums, and scrubbers.
- Ensure that all facilities are clean, well-maintained, and free of hazards.
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks, including unclogging drains and repairing minor issues.
- Work closely with other members of the facilities team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Take initiative to identify and address any areas of concern or improvement.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to stand for extended periods of time.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that involve heavy lifting, bending, and climbing.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
