Design Engineer
Power Distribution Products - Must HAVE Control Panel Experience
Job Description
Use CAD software to create electrical schematics with 2D layouts and 3D models
Ability to establish a complete bill of material for electrical panels and related products
Ensure electrical product designs meet industry and UL requirements
Evaluate customer requirements and ability to determine electrical design components
Troubleshoot design issues and provide technical support and recommendations
Ability to research and specify equivalent equipment to meet requirement specifications
Collaborate with customers and fellow team members to establish various concepts and designs
Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience
Extensive familiarity with Industrial Control Panels, UL508A
Familiarity with Panelboards (UL67) and Switchboard (UL891) electrical products
AutoCAD experience required
3d Model experience required, Solidworks preferred
Programming experience required, C#, Python, HTML / CSS / JS preferred
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Good verbal and written English communication
