Job Description
IMPORTANT NOTE: This position will be servicing our Singapore facility and after a training period will have hours from 9pm to 5:30am or 3pm to 11:30pm
The Supply Chain/Purchasing Planning Analyst will be responsible for the procurement of goods, services, and operations equipment including but not limited to the evaluation of supplier’s proposals, costs, and quality, and performance.
The analyst will also be responsible for the collection and analysis of supply chain data and forecasting information from the customers. This includes but is not limited to recommendations for improvements to boost performance and reduce costs as well as analyzing financial reports to find discrepancies. Coordinating with other professionals to implement changes and new systems.

Essential Job Functions
- Use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to determine purchasing needs.
- Maintain ERP system data to ensure quality of information for purchasing requirements.
- Prepare all required documentation for each purchase order.
- Daily communication with suppliers/vendors via verbal/written or electronically delivered purchase orders.
- Coordinate invoice problems with vendor and accounting as well as any delivery requirements with the vendor.
- Interaction with engineering/project managers to ensure item qualifications.
- Establish/maintain working contracts with vendors. Including but not limited to meetings with sales and vendor representatives when required.
- Support the company’s inventory and supply chain needs with data analytics.
- Identification of bad inventory and aid in the deployment of a strategy to relieve the inventory through disposal, resale, or return to vendors.
- Develop, maintain, and use detailed inventory management best practices, as well as supply chain analysis using both actual and forecasted demand.
- Perform additional duties as required by the Supply Chain Manager.
- Problem PO resolutions
- Ensure staff members follow all safety regulations.
- The position will be filled by a candidate interested in pursuing or continuing to develop their analytical and operational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including a high mastery of Excel.
- Ability to quickly learn how to interact with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System – Syteline 10 knowledge a plus, but not required.

- Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Frequently communicates with employees, vendor and logistical companies
