Responsibilities
- Brand Ownership & Strategic Leadership
- Serve as the single point of contact for all e-content needs for one haircare brand.
- Act as an extension of the brand team—owning brand knowledge, vision, voice, and guidelines.
- Maintain a competitive understanding of the category, applying best practices in eContent strategy.
- Maintain a tracker of all live and upcoming eContent assets.
- Project & Process Management
- Lead the end-to-end project process across three core phases:
- Design – Inform and influence the campaign design phase by defining all eContent needs early
- Adaptation – Translate final campaign creative into retailer-specific briefs; manage the holistic briefing cycle
- Syndication – Manage content delivery, syndication, and performance review across retailers.
- Own project timelines from Handshake to syndication verification, ensuring OTIF delivery.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams, including agencies, brand managers, and eCommerce stakeholders.
- Manage content workflows and milestones (PDL lock, alt-text completion, etc.).
- Support ad hoc initiatives or Amazon-specific briefing requests in a timely manner
- Content Briefing
- Lead the briefing process for all econtent briefs across 7OA, retail media, and brand store.
- Manage key stakeholders on the brand team and external agency teams, ensuring buy-in, collaboration and visibility.
- Integrate insights and performance learnings into the briefing process to improve content effectiveness.
- Utilize tools like Caterpillar AI and Samantha AI to streamline alt-text and copy development.
- Participate in brand sessions and knowledge transfers to align creative with brand innovation and positioning.
- Syndication & Performance Tracking
- Upload and manage assets through TAB
- Responsible for correct retailer syndication and presence (syndication performed by 3rd party agency)
- Conduct routine audits of content performance and retailer presence using Data Impact.
- Track performance and identify gaps; feed insights back into the creative development process.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to independently lead workstreams while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of content strategy, eComm platforms, and beauty/CPG brand storytelling.
- Familiarity with retailer requirements and eCommerce nuances across platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in solving problems and removing blockers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Stakeholder and agency management.
- Experience with hair care or health & beauty brands is a positive.
- Proficiency in content management systems and project management tools.
