What we are looking for:
indiGO Auto Group's Marin dealership group, comprised of Porsche Marin, Audi Marin, Volkswagen Marin, is seeking a full-time, experienced Controller to join our growing team.

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:
- Oversee all accounting and financial/factory statements for the dealership
- Active management of cash flow, bank reconciliation, floorplan and A/R accounts
- Ensure that the accounting records are maintained in an orderly and accurate condition at all times.
- Issue timely, complete, and accurate financial statements and reports.
- Partner with the dealership management, CFO and Executive team to interpret, analyze financial results and make recommendations for profit improvement.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and generally accepted accounting process and to safeguard the dealerships assets.
- Contribute to the overall success of the dealership group by working with all departments collaboratively and professionally with a positive attitude.
- Provide department managers with a detail of expenses, gross profit analyses, employee productivity reports, and any other information they need to manage their departments. Prepare periodic forecasts with department managers and follow up with forecast to actual reports. Responsible for planning, compilation and reporting of the annual budgeting process with all business partners.
- Work with Corporate team for the preparation of all information for the outside CPA firm
- Active contribution to the company's strategy to become more data driven and work with real time data.
- Build and manage a strong and proactive team in the business office, supporting the business where possible and proactively safeguarding the assets of the company.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
The opportunity is for you if you have:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the automotive industry
- Experience with CDK, Tekion, or similar DMS preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required
- High degree of professionalism
- Strong sense of pride in work product and a demonstrated willingness to go the extra mile
- Strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills, team player
- Ability to communicate with various levels of management
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Pay range for this role is: $120,000 - $350,000 per year
