About Us:
Indigo Billing is a third party utilization review, billing, and consulting company located in Costa Mesa, CA who services substance abuse and mental health facilities. We are seeking an admin assistant to join our rapidly growing team who will serve under the supervision of the Director of Utilization Review.
Job Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Successfully aid and support the Director of Utilization Review in daily administrative duties
- Manage Director of Utilization review’s email, coordinate calendar, schedule internal and external meetings, as well as taking meeting notes.
- Professionally communicate, verbally and in writing, with colleagues, other departments, and clients.
- Effectively manage duties assigned
- Perform accurate and timely data entry
- Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality regulations
- Efficiently complete any other duties assigned that could support the Director of Utilization Review
Education and Licensing:
- Licensing or credentials in the behavioral health or medical field is a plus, but not a requirement.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Prior experience in administrative support, healthcare and/or utilization review is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Proficient in the use of google workspace, different EMRs, and other data tracking software.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills, data entry skills, and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks, different time zones, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision as well as with a team in an expanding, fast paced organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills including excellent communication verbally as well as in writing with colleagues, insurance companies and clients.
- Possess a solution-oriented mindset surrounding problem solving.
Compensation:
To be determined as it depends upon the candidate’s experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
