We are seeking a capable and friendly Rehab Technician to support our therapy department. In this role, you will assist with patient intake, perform treatments under supervision, and maintain patient records. You may also be required to help keep the facility and equipment organized and clean.
To ensure success, you should have knowledge of therapeutic techniques and ideally have experience in a similar role. A top-notch rehab technician will be a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Rehab Technician Responsibilities :
- Assist patients in reaching examination and treatment rooms.
- Perform treatments under the direct supervision of licensed therapists, such as massage therapy and electric muscle stimulation.
- Support physical therapists with complex treatments and assist patients with physical activities.
- Maintain and update patient records accurately.
- Manage patient mobility within the facility and assist with transportation to off-site appointments.
- Sterilize therapeutic equipment and maintain cleanliness in therapy rooms and common areas.
- Safely dispose of hazardous waste and soiled materials.
