Job Summary
As the RN Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing charge nurses and supporting their efforts to provide exceptional care to our residents. You will ensure that nursing staff adheres to health and safety guidelines while facilitating a smooth recovery process for our patients. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional who can independently manage daily operations, educate staff, and contribute to our patients' well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop personalized care plans for residents.
- Inspect the facility regularly to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Supervise and provide training to RNs, LPNs, ensuring they have the skills to provide the best care.
- Maintain effective communication with staff and ensure the delivery of compassionate and high-quality care.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a team player.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to manage daily operations efficiently.
- A valid Registered Nursing license.
