Position Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our team in the multifamily property management industry. This role is essential to driving the success of our residential communities by implementing and managing innovative marketing strategies that increase occupancy, enhance resident engagement, and elevate our brand presence. Additionally, this position will provide crucial administrative support to ensure the seamless operation of the marketing department.

Marketing Responsibilities :
- Marketing Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement marketing campaigns to support leasing efforts, promote resident retention, and enhance the visibility of our apartment communities.
- Content Creation : Design and manage high-quality marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, website content, and email campaigns, tailored to target audiences.
- Website Creation & Management : Create, update, and maintain websites through RentCafe or third-party vendors to ensure accurate and compelling online content.
- Digital Marketing : Optimize community websites, manage SEO / SEM efforts, and coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure maximum online visibility.
- Social Media Management : Act in an advisory role by evaluating existing social media strategies, making recommendations for content improvements, and providing guidance to ensure alignment with overall branding and marketing goals.
- Helpdesk Tickets : Maintain and complete marketing helpdesk tickets in a timely manner to support property teams and resolve issues efficiently.
- On-Site Visits : Conduct on-site visits to properties to evaluate curb appeal, signage, marketing materials, and overall branding alignment, providing actionable recommendations to enhance visibility and attract prospective residents.
- Analytics & Reporting : Monitor marketing campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and generate actionable insights to improve results.
- Collaboration :
Work closely with property management teams, leasing staff, and external vendors to align marketing efforts with occupancy goals.
Advise Leasing Teams : Provide guidance and support to leasing teams on resident engagement initiatives, including events, promotions, and activities that enhance the resident experience and foster community.Compliance : Ensure all marketing materials comply with fair housing regulations and company branding guidelines.Additional Tasks : Support tasks and projects as assigned by the Vice President of Product, ensuring alignment with departmental and company goals.Administrative Responsibilities :
Contract Management : Assist in creating, reviewing, and managing vendor contracts and agreements to support department operations.Onboarding & Offboarding : Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for properties and vendors as needed.Ordering & Purchasing : Manage marketing supply orders, promotional materials, and other department purchases, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines.Expense Management : Track and process departmental expenses, invoices, and reimbursements to maintain accurate financial records.Organizational Support : Maintain departmental calendars, manage schedules for marketing projects, and ensure deadlines are met.Vendor Coordination : Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, resolve issues, and build strong partnerships.Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. (this is preferred, not required)Experience :2 years of marketing experience, preferably in the real estate, property management, or multifamily housing industry.
Demonstrated experience advising teams on resident engagement initiatives, such as events, promotions, or community activities or experience coordinating these initiatives firsthand.Hands-on experience creating and maintaining websites using RentCafe or similar platforms.Proven ability to complete administrative tasks, such as managing email, organizing purchases and expenses, or coordinating contracts.Practical experience working with vendors, including signage, software, or advertising vendors, to ensure timely and effective delivery of projects while maintaining high standards for work quality and brand alignment.Practical experience working with digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, or social media management software.Skills :Knowledge of Yardi RentCafe products is highly preferred; familiarity with RentCafe websites is required. Candidates with similar software experience will also be considered.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and adjust marketing strategies for optimal results.Proficiency in graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) or Canva.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.Problem-solving abilities to address marketing challenges creatively and efficiently.Detail-oriented with strong multitasking capabilities to ensure work is accurate and delivered on time.Creative thinking skills to generate fresh, innovative ideas and adapt to evolving market trends.Customer service mindset with the ability to support and advise teams while maintaining a positive and solutions-focused attitude.What We Offer :
