The Director of Culture and Talent Development is responsible for ensuring the assigned division becomes and remains a destination workplace where one receives world-class training, development, and culture. You will plan, design, and lead the implementation of divisional talent programs that build and develop a strong workforce for the future. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.

Responsibilities
- Strategizes, designs, and directs activities to ensure the assigned division becomes and remains a destination workplace in any market that it touches.
- Directs the design, development and implementation of leadership, provider, and employee development strategies, programs and content
- Delivers employee, provider, and leader strategy that develops high-performing teams, enhances bench strength and retains key talent through succession planning, leadership development, engagement strategies etc.
- Directs engagement and culture development work strategically along the employee, provider and leader lifecycle
- Facilitates/leads change and transition efforts in various parts of the organization to ensure identified goals are fully achieved
- Serves as key contributor and partner in the journey to becoming a Highly Reliable Organization by supporting design and delivery of training programs and culture design
- Supervises professional staff, providing direction, coaching, development and guidance to the same, creating a team environment through training, performance management, recognition/evaluation, and in-service education which produces optimum work habits and job performance.
- Bachelor’s degree required in related field
- Master’s degree highly desired
- Ten (10) years of experience in any combination of leadership development, education, or organizational development role
- Five (5) years of experience in a management capacity
- Consulting and/or executive coaching experience in a healthcare environment preferred
