Job Title: Household Assistant (Nanny/Helper/Driver)
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Location: Junction City, KS
Salary: $15 per hour
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable, versatile Household Assistant to support the daily operations of our home. This individual will help with a variety of tasks, including childcare, driving to appointments, light cleaning, and general assistance with household responsibilities. The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, and adaptable to a dynamic home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation:
- Drive the employer to appointments, errands, and other destinations as needed.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance and cleanliness for safe and comfortable transportation.
- Household Maintenance:
- Perform light cleaning and organizing to maintain a tidy home environment.
- Handle minor repairs and basic handyman tasks.
- Assist with household errands such as shopping and mail collection.
- Childcare (if applicable):
- Supervise and care for children, including meal preparation and assistance with homework.
- Plan and engage in educational and recreational activities.
- General Assistance:
- Manage and complete various tasks assigned by the employer.
- Provide support for special projects or events in the home.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in childcare, handyman tasks, or similar roles.
- Ability to handle household equipment and perform minor repairs.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must pass background screening
- Preferred 2 years of experience as an assistant, but not required.
Preferred Skills:
- CPR and First Aid certification (for childcare duties).
- Experience with household management or professional housekeeping.
- Basic knowledge of tools and home maintenance.
Work Schedule: The schedule is flexible and may vary based on the employer’s needs. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required.
