What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver - Local position at Individually Owned and Operated Ace Hardware Store?
Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering building materials and other merchandise to the customers home, business, or jobsite. Delivery driver will also be responsible for keeping mileage records, as well as other administrative needs. Being familiar with piggy back trucks and lifts is a plus. Our delivery range is typically within 60 miles. Driver also needs to be adept at load distribution, weight limits, and other items to insure safe deliveries.
Our delivery driver position also requires the driver to help on the lumber yard when not on the road.
Commercial Drivers License (CDL), ability to lift up to 94lbs
