What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Sales Associate/Stocking position at Individually Owned and Operated Ace Hardware Store?
- Available to work 24-32 hours per week. One weekend day required, both is desirable. Potential for full time hours during summer for the right candidate.

- Ability to lift 50lbs. multiple times in a row as needed
- Scheduling flexibility when needed
- Valid drivers license, clean driving record, and willingness to drive a company vehicle for deliveries if needed
- Experience in retail/customer service
Expected Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Provide customer service to customers (ie. answering questions, directing customers to products, selling products, answering phone calls)
- Operating cash register as needed
- Stocking shelves and receiving shipments of product
- Cleaning and daily chores throughout the store
- Helping with assembly of items sold in store
- Helping customers with carry out items (this may include items over 50lbs.)
- Ability to count money and make change
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. repeatedly throughout the day
Preferred Experience of/Willingness to Learn:
- Experience with computers and POS systems
- Experience with mixing paints and stains
- Experience with small engines and small engine repair
- Experience with cutting glass/plexiglass
- Experience with screen repair
- Experience in plumbing
- Experience in electrical
- Experience in opening/closing retail business
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively
Pay:
Starting at $18/hr. Pay is negotiable depending on previous experience in the areas listed above. Health insurance packages available to employees working over 30 hours per week after 90 days of employment.
