Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead our HR function for our corporate offices and manufacturing locations. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will understand HR from a manufacturing perspective, possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational objectives.
- Oversee talent acquisition processes, including recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Manage employee relations, addressing conflicts and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA regulations and other labor laws.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Manage our HR system Paylocity
- Administer workers' compensation programs and ensure proper handling of claims.
- Provide guidance on performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
- Collaborate with management to create policies that promote a positive workplace culture.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior HR role with a strong understanding of human resources functions.
- Experience in a manufacturing set-up is preferable.
- Proficiency in data analysis skills to assess HR metrics effectively.
- Familiarity with HR software including Paylocity.
- Strong knowledge of FMLA regulations and conflict management techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition strategies and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
