What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager - Appliance Division position at Indoff?
Nationwide distributor looking for a General Manager to run all aspects of our appliance division. This position is responsible for sales, marketing, product mix, vendor relations, customer support, and inventory management. The General Manager will guide the Appliance Group teams toward meeting revenue and productivity targets while fostering individual employee growth.
In addition to strategic leadership, the General Manager will collaborate with team members to support daily operations and workflow. This individual will have in-depth knowledge of our product offerings and will serve as the primary resource for product expertise and business processes within the team.
The following skills are required to run our appliance division:
- 5 years of sales or operations management experience (preferred)
- 4-year bachelor's degree (business degree preferred)
- Strong cognitive skills
- Flexible, capacity to learn new products/processes quickly
- Extensive organization skills
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Detailed research capabilities
- Experience with Microsoft office and CRM software
