Responsibilities
- Supervise daily route operations to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
- Manage a team of drivers, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse for efficient stock management.
- Implement effective communication strategies between the delivery team and customers.
- Assist in training new employees on company policies and procedures.
- Evaluate route efficiency and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during transportation and handling of products.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in logistics or delivery services.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple routes effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
- Ability to perform commercial driving duties as required, including covering routes in the assigned district when needed.
- Basic math skills for pricing and inventory management.
- Experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus.
