Job Description:
Indorama Ventures – Indovinya is currently looking for a Demand Planner. This role is responsible for coordinating with a cross-functional team for generating a consensus forecast of demand to support the US markets. The Demand Planner will analyze data to continuously improve demand assumptions and respond effectively to market shifts, resulting in greater alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Finance. This role reports to the Demand Manager.

The Demand Planner will analyze data to continuously improve demand assumptions and respond effectively to market shifts, resulting in greater alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Finance. This role reports to the Demand Manager.
What will be expected from you?
- Create, update, and manage demand forecasts at various levels of aggregation for a 12-month rolling period.
- Track forecast accuracy, understand variances, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to refine projections.
- Facilitate monthly demand review meetings to communicate forecast updates and potential gaps to relevant stakeholders.
- Actively participate in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meetings to drive consensus on demand planning assumptions.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, bias, inventory turnover, and product availability.
- Analyze forecast GAPs and provide insight into driving factors.
- Ensure demand planning data and master data accuracy to support effective forecasting and inventory planning.
- 5 years in demand planning, supply planning, or operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business Analytics, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain.
- Professional (CSCP) preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP or other demand planning tools; strong analytical skills with Excel, Power BI, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of demand and supply chain planning principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to manage complex data sets and deliver actionable insights.
- Proactive and organized approach to managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
