Environmental Specialist Job Description
Indorama Ventures- Indovinya is currently seeking an Environmental Specialist to join our team at the Dayton, TX site. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, coordinating, and maintaining environmental programs and activities to ensure compliance with all State and Federal laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment for employees, contractors, and surrounding communities.
- Administer and maintain environmental permits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Implement, coordinate, and manage compliance reporting for the facility.
- Provide environmental technical support and guidance to plant management and supervision.
- Oversee EHS contractors and service providers.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing environmental, air, waste, and water programs.
- Technical and field EHS support at chemical or petrochemical facilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with TCEQ Agency interactions.
