Job Description:
Indovinya, an Indorama Ventures Company seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Security Analyst to join our IT Security and Compliance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cybersecurity, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Indovinya is a global company with assets in North and South America, India, Australia, China, and Europe.
What will be expected from you?
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and controls in a compliance driven environment.
- Participate in security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Work appropriate support cases, tickets, and projects.
- Support the investigation and resolution of security incidents, including data breaches and malware infections.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
- Coordinate with Network team to manage, monitor, and enhance cyber security concerns.
- Work with 3rd party vendors, services, and service providers as part of daily responsibilities.
- Assist with Cyber Security Training and Awareness programs.
- Help to mature and improve the Cyber Security posture of the company.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- All other job duties as assigned.
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 1-3 years relevant experience.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threat analysis, risk management, and incident response.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security , Certified Ethical Hacker) are a plus but not required.
