Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled mechanical engineering intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop valuable skills. You will be responsible for providing technical support to assigned areas, working closely with engineers, and contributing to project assignments. Your tasks will include giving a project presentation to the Site Leadership Team, supporting engineers in performance of assignments, and ensuring compliance with integrated management systems.
Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, be a full-time college student at the Junior or Senior level by the end of Spring 2025, and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Additionally, you should be authorized to work in the U.S., not require work authorization sponsorship, and be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Card. Proficiency in Microsoft programs, knowledge of basic principles and methods used in chemical plant manufacturing and analysis, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong planning and organizational skills, and ability to solve complex problems are also essential.
