Position Title: Sr Linux Engineer
Position Location: Pittsburgh PA, Cleveland OH, Birmingham AL, Dallas, TX , Phoenix, AZ
Ability to work remote: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 remotely
Duration: 12 Months Contract to Hire
On W2
Function of the Group: Mitigating risk
Initiatives/Projects: Security team using security tools, managing risk
Industry background: Open to all backgrounds
Team Dynamic:
- 3 other team members
- C4 level engineers
- 1 Contractor in India
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Managing the health of a Linux based security system
- Being the lead infrastructure specialist
- Understanding servers, networks, how the consumers interact from a user perspective
Must Have Technical Skills:
- Infrastructure engineer
- Linux/Unix
- Server and Networking Fundamentals
Flex Skills/Nice to Have:
- Tokenization (newer and niche skill set, so having this is definitely a plus but understandable if candidate does not possess)
- Protegrity tokenization experience
- Big Data systems, such as Hadoop/Cloudera/Teradata
Education/Certifications:
Experience in lieu of education, but Bachelors degree is nice to have
Interview Process:
1 Round: 2-3 person panel with HM - 30 Min
Salary : $60 - $65
