Job Position: Scientist (Analytical Chemistry)
Duration: 12 months
Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84116
Job Description:
- Provided technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for technology development activities for various medical device products. Support current projects in research & development and pilot-scale manufacturing.
- Focussed will be on analytical chemistry work using instruments in the lab.
- Execute technical and cross-functional project work.
- Follow and execute standard operating procedures (SOP) and test methods.
- Coordinate and support maintenance activities of the lab as required.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or as required to support the business.
Must haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major: Chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science, or similar.
- Experience/understanding of working in a lab.
- Lab work experience a strong plus.
- Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to learn.
