Job Title : Onsite Job - Assembly Operator
Location : Collierville, TN
Duration : 4 Months Contract
Max Pay : $18 / hr
Position comments :
This is a 2nd shift position, but you need to be flexible for the 1st shift as well. Hours are : 2nd shift (4 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM / Midnight) and 1st shift (6 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM). Flexibility is essential.
Job Description :
As an Assembler, you will be responsible for various manufacturing operations including assembly, machine operation and testing. You will ensure parts are aligned and assembled to specifications and maintain production records.
Key Responsibilities :
- Position and secure components / sub-assemblies using fixtures, fasteners, or adhesives
- Check parts and alignment, setting aside faulty material and notifying Supervisor
- Clean parts and / or sub-assemblies as required
- Repair damage to painted parts with brush or spray
- Connect to gas / air / electric test equipment and check as specified
- Package, carton and identity (stencil, etc.)
- Determine and record production counts
- Keep equipment and working area clean and in good order
- Perform quality checks as required
Education Qualification :
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
