Job Title : Cybersecurity Engineer
Duration : 6 months , full-time (7.5 billable hours / day, M-F)
Location : Primarily New York, NY (various additional NYC locations, as needed)
Remote / Hybrid : 100% onsite, no hybrid or remote
Max Rate to your firm : $85 / hr
Must be Legally Authorized to Work in the US
Must receive resumes and associated items by EOD 1 / 31 / 25
The role is set to begin very quickly and set up a team of onsite consultants at various NY-area locations who can assist the client's Operational Technology (OT) groups in supporting new and ongoing cybersecurity projects.
As such we are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer with a Network Background with the following skill set :
Years of experience :
Must have an Associates, Bachelors, master's and / or PHD and 2 yrs of experience.
Mandatory Required Skills :
1. Understanding of Network Concepts (e.g. Subnetting, Protocols, OSI model, etc.).
2. Experience in Implementing / Managing / Troubleshooting Network Infrastructure (e.g. Routers, Switches, etc.). Understanding of Tools / Strategies to implement Network Security (e.g. CISCO ISE, AAA Framework, etc.).
3. Experience in Implementation / Usage of Network Security Appliances (e.g. FWs, IDS / IPS, NAC, etc.).
4. Understanding of Cybersecurity Concepts.
5. Data Analysis
6. Cisco ISE (AAA)
7. Cyber Security Incident Response Plan / Program
8. Network Automation experience
9. Network IDS experience preferably in the OT environment
Must have Knowledge of :
1. BGP, OSPF and Switching (Cisco)
2. Physical Access Control Systems
3. Video Management Systems
4. Virtualization and Infrastructure (Vmware, Virtual Switches)
5. Endpoint Credential Management
6. Privileged Access Management
7. Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan / Program
8. Threat Detection and Vulnerability Assessments
9. Implementing Deception Technology (Honeypot / Honeynets)
10. Data Analysis
11. DWDM and SONET
12. Nozomi maintenance and management
13. TDI administration and management
14. Gigamon maintenance and management experience
