Responsibilities:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and documents to respective departments
- Prepare outgoing mail and packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and addressing
- Maintain accurate records of mail and package deliveries
- Operate mailroom equipment such as postage machines, scanners, and labeling systems
- Ensure the mailroom is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with handling confidential documents, following security protocols
- Coordinate with couriers and delivery services to ensure timely receipt and dispatch
- Perform routine inventory checks on office supplies and mailroom materials
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a mailroom, administrative, or office support role preferred
- Basic knowledge of mailing systems, postage machines, and package delivery services
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle packages of various sizes and weights safely (up to 40 lbs)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
