Server/Cashier

• Greeting and welcoming customers
• Taking food/beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system
• Making menu item recommendations
• Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
• Ensuring all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is high quality
• Providing attentive service to diners, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals
• Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management if and when necessary
• Performing cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen and in the dining area

Summary

As a Server/Cashier, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will utilize your core skills in customer service, food service, POS systems, and food safety to efficiently take orders and serve food. Your premium skills, including experience with Toast POS, will enhance guest interactions and streamline operations. With a focus on teamwork and effective communication, you will contribute to a memorable dining experience in our establishment. Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service and restaurant environments
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Proficiency in using POS systems
• Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team or alone in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to multitask and handle large groups or potential rushes
• Experience with fine dining and culinary practices is a plus
• Basic math skills are required for handling transactions and cash register duties

***** This is a tipped position, meaning you could potentially earn a lot more than your hourly ay based on your customer service and food serving skills. We will also be looking to promote a strong full-time server with leadership skills to more of a team lead position.
