Oracle PL/SQL developer with Python
Location : NYC NY
Need Mandatory onsite in NYC
In this role, you would be part of the data integrity/analysis team in the Banking and financial domain. You will be responsible to independently build data analysis around complex business problems from data available in the client owned or accessible systems. For these tasks, you would be encouraged to understand the business ask/problem, assess the scope, quantity and quality of the available data, prepare and build the Data pipeline, and loading data in to DWH and Data Mart for downstream consumption team.
Responsibilities
- Oracle DB and Python Developer with extensive experience in PL/SQL and Python.
- 6 years of relevant experience and skilled in , Oracle Database with hands on exposure.
- Exposure to data analysis and data crunching on database with very good SQL skills.
- Good hands-on on PL/SQL including Stored procedures, functions, view, materialized views, cursors and exception handling.
- Person shall have good knowledge on Window functions, analytical functions, CTE, Merge.
- Very good experience in reading SQL plans, performance tuning, partitioning and other techniques.
- Very good SQL expertise in Joins, Analytical functions and triggers.
- Person should have worked on python dtypes like list, dictionaries
- Hands-on and good experience on python libraries like pandas, sys, os, logger, argument parser, oracle conn libraries.
- Good exposure to string handling and email function using python.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum based project executions
- Good to have knowledge on CI/CD using Jenkins/Bamboo.
- Good to have python experience with hands-on experience on pandas, snowpark, data crunching, connecting other RDBMS.
- Good to have Cloud knowledge on AWS services like S3,
- Team player, collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
