Seeking a Procurement Admin to support the department with material orders, developing vendor relationships, and coordinating office and warehouse maintenance.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships
- Evaluate and select supplier criteria for each order
- Maintain price lists and negotiate with vendors on price and delivery costs
- Create and place Purchase Orders and input data into internal accounting programs
- Keep track of all materials ordered and received; follow up with vendors as needed
- Evaluate invoices for accuracy and work with the accounting department to ensure proper coding
- Assist Procurement Specialist with cost analysis and reports
- Ensure responsible procurement practices are being met and comply with company objective
- Coordinate with Warehouse Manager and Procurement Specialist to maintain inventory workflow
- Assist in office maintenance coordination as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Knowledge of construction industry materials (preferred, not required)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Great relationship management
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Drivers License
