Summary/Objective: Develop new Commercial Real Estate business and client base in Houston and the southern region; ensure overall efficiency and productivity of the regional office. Essential Functions: - Cultivates new business opportunities and clients by marketing ICBC products.
- Develops business strategies and marketing plans according to goals and budgets set by the regional head.
- Achieves business goals and budgets as assigned.
- Enter, update and retrieve information for credit applications.
- Determine credit worthiness of the loan customers.
- Designate degree of risk involved in extending credit by performing cash flow analysis of businesses.
- Ensure all approved applications comply with firm and lender criteria.
- Updates and makes recommendations to the regional head by keeping abreast of the market conditions, changes and trends.
- Ensures compliance of Bank’s policies, procedures and regulations.

Risk Management Responsibilities: Owns the risks they take and are responsible and accountable for ongoing management of risks, including the identifying, measuring, monitoring, assessing (self-assessment) and reporting risk exposure proactively to senior management. Required Experience and Education: Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from an accredited four-year college or university. Prior relationship management or sales experience in Commercial Real Estate banking is required. Five plus years of relationship management experience and knowledge of regional market. Equivalent combination of education and experience. Travel and Physical Demands:
Moderate travel within region is required to visit prospective customers/clients. This is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop and cell phone. Most work is completed in an office environment. Walking around the office and talking to employees and supervisors is required. Language/Communication Skills:
Bilingual verbal and written Mandarin are highly desirable; must be proficient in English.
