Summary
Industrial Automation has an immediate opening for an experienced Manual/Conversational Program machinist to manufacture tools and tooling to support the maintenance of aircraft. You will work primarily from drawings to machine details to support Fabrication and Assembly, working cooperatively with other departments to ensure top quality tools and tooling. Must be comfortable with varied, challenging work and small-volume/prototype production.
Compensation
Pay Range: $30.00-$36.00/hour depending on experience.
Hours: Monday-Friday 5:30AM-2:00PM

- Good math skills (above basic machine shop math; preference is knowing geometry, algebra and/or trigonometry).
- 3 to 5 years Manual Machining (ProtoTrak Mills preferred).
- Ability to use and read precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read commercial and/or military and shop blueprints, diagrams and/or schematics.
- Ability to understand how the detail part number is used within the assembly.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge working with various metals: aluminum, steel, titanium to name a few.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- High School graduation or GED required.
- Respect and commitment to the job and for coworkers.
- Problem solving abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Steel or composite toed shoes complying with current revision of ASTM F-2413.
