POSITION SUMMARY:
DC Power Professionals are driven sales leaders focused on delivering innovative power solutions that move businesses forward. This role is focused on hunting for new business, re-engaging dormant and lost accounts, and most importantly developing direct, lasting relationships with end users.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Establish, cultivate, and expand new customer relationships while also maintaining and growing existing accounts.
- Reactivate lost accounts and cultivate dormant relationships back into active customers.
- Prioritize building direct relationships with end users to expand influence and reduce dependency on dealer sales, while preserving productive relationships with dealer partners.
- Offer expert consultation on IBP’s full product and service portfolio to meet customers' DC power needs.
- Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
- Conduct in-depth customer discovery to assess DC power and facility needs.
- Work closely with your Branch Team to develop tailored solutions.
- Prepare compelling quotes and deliver persuasive sales presentations.
- Respond to customer and team inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate with Business Development to create impactful messaging and campaigns.
- Leverage market data to uncover growth opportunities and shape targeted sales strategies.
- Set up new customers in SAP through lead procedures.
- Gather precise information and prepare comprehensive quotes for coordinator processing.
- Regularly coordinate with branch teams to monitor the progress of open items.
- Attend regular sales meetings, industry events, and ongoing training sessions.
- Stay up to date on trends, competitors, and new technologies in the material handling and power industries.
- Track your activities and pipeline progress to stay organized, maximize opportunities, and maintain control of your sales success.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- Associate’s degree in Sales, Business, or other relevant area of study, or equivalent practical experience
- Reliable transportation and clear motor vehicle record
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen prior to hire
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, or other relevant area of study
- Experience with SAP Business One, or comparable ERP and CRM system
- Previous “Material Handling Industry” experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Work within a typical professional office setting, with occasional work in shop/warehouse environments with various conditions associated with warehouse operation.
- While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds from a standing position.
- Must be able to stand and reach for extended periods while performing on site battery readings for evaluation and review.
