Key Responsibilities
- Design Production:
- Create and produce high-quality graphics for print and digital media, including brochures, advertisements, social media content, packaging, and websites
- Develop designs that align with brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all platforms and campaigns
- Translate creative concepts into polished final assets, ready for production
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product teams, and other departments to understand project objectives and deliver effective design solutions
- Partner with other designers and copywriters to refine concepts, enhance visual storytelling, and elevate campaign impact
- Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to improve designs and meet project goals
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines without compromising quality
- Maintain organized workflows and ensure assets are accessible for cross-functional teams
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep projects on track and aligned with timelines
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools
- Prepare files for print production, ensuring all technical specifications are met, including resolution, color profiles, and file formats
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure the accuracy and quality of final print and digital materials
- 3D SketchUp knowledge a big advantage
- Quality Control:
- Review and proof designs for accuracy, ensuring adherence to brand standards and project requirements
- Conduct thorough checks for technical and visual consistency before submitting assets for production
- Make revisions based on feedback and ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards
- Strong grasp of typography, branding, and design trends, particularly within the beauty or lifestyle sectors
- Experience managing creative projects in a deadline-driven environment, balancing creativity and efficiency
- Experience in retail design, beauty, or visual merchandising is a plus
- Familiarity with additional tools like SketchUp or 3D software for visualization is a plus
- A portfolio demonstrating expertise in producing high-quality designs for print and digital media, ideally showcasing experience in beauty, retail, or visual merchandising
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- A proactive mindset and passion for creating designs that resonate with beauty and lifestyle audiences
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in a mid to high-level graphic design role, preferably with exposure to the cosmetics or beauty industry
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong time management and organizational skills with a graphic design mindset
- Ability to thrive under deadlines and in high-pressure situations
- Accept direction with an impeccable attention to detail and and appreciation for aesthetics
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a graphic designer's collaborative spirit
