Job Description:
As an RF Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining Motorola Astro P25 infrastructure equipment & systems for our public safety customers. You will work closely with team members and clients to ensure everything is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Motorola Astro P25 equipment, systems & subscribers.
• Perform upgrades, installation and troubleshooting of Avtec Scout & other console systems.
• Install and configure new equipment as required.
• Conduct diagnostics to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers or internal technical & sales teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve complex issues.
• Keep up to date with new technologies and industry’s best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or a degree in a related field is a plus.
• 5 years of experience in technical or maintenance role.
• Experience with Motorola GTR infrastructure & APX subscriber systems a plus
• Basic or advanced networking skills a plus to include NetPlus etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient in using tools, equipment, and software relevant to the field.
• Valid driver’s license.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
