To facilitate this exponential growth IEM is excited to be recruiting for experienced Project Manager with a background in manufacturing to join our Enterprise team in this highly collaborative role located in Jacksonville, Florida.
Essential Functions
- Work as part of the Integrated Products team to share ideas and improve operations, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities aligned with
- Review processes and procedures to optimise results and improve quality of delivery in line with company and customer requirements
- Understand the production flow and processes to effectively implement changes with courtesy, resulting in team engagement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to remove process bottlenecks and support accelerated growth
- Plan and manage projects from initiation through to completion; understand the risks, dependencies and critical milestones to be met to ensure success
- Lead, define and develop communication tools to support customer requirements
- Perform root cause analysis and engage key internal and external stakeholders to define and implement robust solutions to new and reoccurring issues
- Compilation and analysis of information pertaining to component reliability, production and field issues to identify trends and opportunities
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed
- Schedule and coordinate shipments to finished goods inventory and/or 3PL warehousing as required
- 5 years of recent project management/process experience in a manufacturing environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong professional presence and a proven ability to interface with various levels of management and motivate cross functional teams
- Hands on approach to problem solving
- Advanced level computer skills in Excel & knowledgeable in typical business software including MRP/ERP type software packages
- Strong planning, project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and juggle multiple projects and competing priorities
- Being flexible and positive, exhibiting an outgoing/service-oriented personality is a must
- Preferred Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or related discipline
- Lean Certification/Project Management qualification is a definite asset
