Description
PREREQUISITES
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum five years motor shop experience.
- Minimum one year experience in outside mechanical service.
- Valid California driver license with driving record that meets company criteria.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to climb ladders and/or use other high reach equipment.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions.
- Wear safety toe footwear.
JOB DUTIES
- Replace or repair electro mechanical equipment in the field.
- Rig electro mechanical equipment in and out of place in various facilities.
- Install and terminate electric motors.
- Perform hot and cold alignments on various motors.
- Perform field balancing of rotating equipment.
- Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis.
- Observe all safety procedures and use proper PPE.
- Perform other duties as directed.
EQUIPMENT USE
- Alignment equipment, balancing equipment, A-frame and chain fall, hand and power tools, welder, computer, printer/scanner/copier, telephone and fax.
WORK HOURS AND ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm; overtime, weekends, holidays and on-call as required.

- Shop, various plants and office environment
ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to promote strong company image through extensive and direct customer contact.
- Strong communication skills.
