General Description:
Performs a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electro-mechanical assemblies. Completes all work in compliance with drawings, work instructions and travelers. This position requires an individual with IPC Class I acceptable soldering and mechanical skills. Work will include solder touch-up and completing assembly of PWBs/PCBs (Printed Wiring/Circuit Boards) using both through-hole and SMT components. This may include rework in order to prepare boards for next level assembly. Soldering will include using either lead-free or leaded solder depending on customer requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Electro-mechanical assembly and soldering of various printed wiring boards and assemblies as part of display products.
- Read, interpret, and perform work from blue-prints/drawings.
- Use soldering and test equipment, crimping tools, microscopes, as well as any other equipment required to perform the assembly tasks.
- Perform standard tasks that may require execution with limited supervision from oral or written graphic instruction form.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years working in high-volume environment production area. Must be able to adjust to sudden production changes and willing to help throughout the manufacturing area as required. Must have good hand dexterity and be able to work with small components.

Physical Requirements
Close and precise vision is required. This position may require sitting and/or standing for long periods. Good eye/hand coordination; ability to grasp, balance tools, and reach are required. May require lifting up to 30lbs. lifting, bending, reaching, and stooping. Ability to wear gloves, masks and safety glasses as required.
