Under the general direction of the Accounts Receivable Manager, the Billing Specialist is responsible for entering data, printing, proofing, posting and distributing customer invoices.

The Successful Candidate Will...
- In addition to data entry and invoice processing, the Billing Specialist assists territory managers and Customer Service with billing issues
- Enter data for IFC and FISA services and seminar billing
- Proof and select product orders for billing, including shipments to customers, jobsites, and various IFC warehouses
- Process, print, review, post and distribute invoices daily, including e-mailing/faxing invoices to customers
- Fold invoices into envelopes for mailing
- Assist both internal and external customers with billing-related issues
- Manage miscellaneous projects as requested
- Back up other members of Billing Department as needed: Manage incoming contracts from the Administration Department
- Review and track work orders for accuracy/completeness, verify a current contract is in place, ensure all services are billed, and billing has not been duplicated
- Review freight packet and process freight bills as needed
- Create and maintain files for product sales
- Confirm all paperwork for Methyl Bromide usage matches

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
- Two (2) years of billing experience

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
- May be required to stand, walk, sit
- Must be physically able to operate a variety of machines and equipment including office equipment, computer, telephone, printer, etc.
- Physical demands are essentially those of sedentary work in an office setting
- Tasks may require extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation
- May have to lift up to 40 pounds on an infrequent basis
