Under the general direction of the Division Director of Technical Services, the Risk and Compliance Manager ensures compliance with EPA regulations and other appropriate state and federal laws.

Responsibilities
The Risk and Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all State, Federal, OSHA, EPA and FMCRs regulations including but not limited to:
- Ensuring safety compliance across various states, standardizing safety procedures and documentation, and fostering a culture of safety through training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working closely with Territory Managers to maintain a safe working environment while adhering to industry regulations and company policies
- Ensure safety procedures are aligned with industry standards and continuously updated to reflect evolving safety requirements
- Revise, update, develop and implement safety policies and procedures tailored to our specific business. This includes managing all aspects of the company’s safety programs, which encompass training, compliance, and accident/incident investigations
- Manages the Company’s compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation requirements through various duties, including but not limited to maintaining driver qualification files, training employees on DOT regulations, administering the Drug and Alcohol testing program and remaining up to date on new DOT regulations to ensure compliance.
- This includes confirming DQ files, MVR monitoring, DOT Random Drug & Alcohol testing, Clearinghouse, annual driver reviews, annual DOT vehicle inspections and other records as needed.
- Manage customer required qualification request and 3rd party safety vendors requirements (ISN, Avetta, Appruv, Gatefeed).
- Manager hazardous waste disposal renewals and initial contracts and air quality reports as needed.
- Manage the company’s quantitative respiratory protection program including ensuring OSHA questionnaire completions, proper mask fitting, training, and performing initial and annual fit testing using Porta Count.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license required with proof of insurability
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
- Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments
- Ability to travel up to 30%, based on business need
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Environmental Science, OSHA Certification
- Five (5) years in the Pest Management Industry
- Working knowledge of hauling hazardous material
