What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Services Consultant position at Industrial Inspection & Analysis?
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in metrology and model-based inspection methods, with a focus on structured light scanning, laser scanning, CT Scanning, Real-Time X-Ray, and/or FARO Measuring Arm.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and advanced modeling techniques, including surface modeling and reverse engineering from point cloud or mesh data.
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) and general blueprint reading.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make timely decisions.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across various disciplines.
- Nondestructive testing background and/or certifications a plus.
