General Manager - IIA Facility Services
Job Summary:
A dynamic and experienced General Manager is sought to lead and enhance our field Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) operations, driving operational excellence, improving client satisfaction, and fostering a culture of safety and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of field technicians, supervisors, and support staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving team performance, productivity, and client regular performance reviews and provide coaching to ensure high levels of employee engagement and skill development.
- Oversee the daily operations of field activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to customer requirements.
- Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and proactively leading risk assessments, safety training, and compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations related to NDT practices.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a point of contact for inspection services.
- Prepare and manage budgets for field operations, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Requirements:
- 4-year Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the NDT industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role overseeing field knowledge of various NDT methods.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of managing budgets, timelines, and client relationships effectively.
